Bedfordshire Down’s Syndrome Support Group
We provide friendship, support,
education & development and social activities
for those with Down’s syndrome and their families
What we do
Fun early intervention sessions helping preschool children develop to their true potential and helping parents to support their child’s development and education
Group speech therapy sessions to help develop and support speech and language development
Training workshops for educational professionals helping them provide the best support for pupils with Down’s syndrome
Social Activities
Numerous activities are provided throughout the year enabling our families to socialise and have fun together
Under 5’s Group
Opportunity for families of pre-school children to meet up, socialise, make friends and have fun
Teen Club
Monthly youth club providing activities and social opportunities for teenagers with Down’s syndrome
Adult Group
Monthly social group providing activities and social opportunities for those aged 18 years +
Dance Classes
Weekly sessions providing opportunity to learn dance routines, keep fit, have fun and make friends
